I don't have the money to do this, and suspect most buffistas don't either, but lemon juice works even better than vinegar. (I did use it it once salvage a pan that stuff had just bonded to on advice of a friend. ) If I could buy lemon juice for two or three bucks a gallon I'd totally use it instead of vinegar.
I am in my living room. It is an entirely different room than my bedroom. And, at this very moment, in this seperate and fascinating room, I am watching Dr. Who on BBC America. The Doctor just fought off some kitty nurses and saved the human race. As he is wont to do. (It's an old one, fear not the spoilers).
"Living with other humans" has its drawbacks, but big sunny apartments and satelite TV are not two of them.

I also need sheets that actually fit my mattress. My fitted sheets aren't deep enough, and they keep popping off the mattress while I'm sleeping. Why are the deep-pocket sheets so expensive?

So in meme news, I woke up crazy. I had intense dreams all night, and what's worse, intense rejection/self-esteem dreams. I woke up still half in that dream world feeling rejected and unloved (which, yes, I know is insane) and generally out of place in my current reality. Ack!
Also, I was supposed to not have any subbing tomorrow so I could ease back into my school life (my 9th graders are all on their field trip, so no regular classes), but I just got an email asking me to sub all day. Argh.
At the Maker Faire today, it was announced that a new MacGyver film may be in the works. On my way to Boxed Set to post the link....
