Hey, don't worry about it. Nest full of vampires, you come get me, okay. Box full of puppies, that's more of a judgement call.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I made the mistake of thinking I could just be friendly and entertaining, rather than starting out by being a hardass bitch and then dialling it down... It was a pretty good learning experience for me, but it still makes me wince, thinking back on it.

Sounds like my best friend from high school, whose first out-of-college job involved teaching science to 7th graders. He decided to be easygoing, they jumped all over him. He survived the year, then went for a master's in library science.

Cue end of the semester panic from my tutoring students. It's actually a little early this semester. YAY! I'm so thankful my thesis is done so I don't have to worry about that!

Stephanie, I liked Amy's idea for the hair. I think if you lose a couple inches and get some layers, it'll look fab.

Bitch Bosses are really bad this week, aren't they? Good grief!

Our wings are not tired.

(damn I wanna hear back from Aimee's interviewers and I want them to call today and want her to start tomorrow with full bennies and lotsa money)

I even dreamed about it last night! Of course in the dream, Kristin and I had kidnapped E and forgot to tell Aims so she spent her entire first day at new job yelling at MM for losing E. But in the end, somehow we took everyone to Disney World and ND took us on a cruise that was fun and there were no killings of Kristin and me.

What? It was a dream.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

In good news, I haves me an iPhone. And it didn't cost anything--sort of. J uses his Amex card to pay for everything (like groceries, etc) because you get points that way, and we pay off the whole balance each month. They just had a deal that if you use your points you get 30% off, so we got the iPhone! For me! So excited!

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

What? It was a dream.

Well, aside from hours of panic and dealing with an even more panicked Empress, sounds good to me.

Our wings are not tired.

Yeah, since it was a dream, it was like 5 seconds of panic followed by a lifetime at Disneyworld!

You know, when I call and say, "I'd like to talk to the person who handles _______," and you insist on helping me, don't get shirty with me when I know more than you do.
