It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

(damn I wanna hear back from Aimee's interviewers and I want them to call today and want her to start tomorrow with full bennies and lotsa money)

I even dreamed about it last night! Of course in the dream, Kristin and I had kidnapped E and forgot to tell Aims so she spent her entire first day at new job yelling at MM for losing E. But in the end, somehow we took everyone to Disney World and ND took us on a cruise that was fun and there were no killings of Kristin and me.

What? It was a dream.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

In good news, I haves me an iPhone. And it didn't cost anything--sort of. J uses his Amex card to pay for everything (like groceries, etc) because you get points that way, and we pay off the whole balance each month. They just had a deal that if you use your points you get 30% off, so we got the iPhone! For me! So excited!

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

What? It was a dream.

Well, aside from hours of panic and dealing with an even more panicked Empress, sounds good to me.

Our wings are not tired.

Yeah, since it was a dream, it was like 5 seconds of panic followed by a lifetime at Disneyworld!

Mostly lurking...

You know, when I call and say, "I'd like to talk to the person who handles _______," and you insist on helping me, don't get shirty with me when I know more than you do.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Morning, all. Very sorry to hear about the many asshat bosses. Ass 'em in the ear!

I just had a visit from the infection specialist. He thinks I likely have a typical pneumonia and will probably be able to go home today! Yay! The only bad news is that my left lung is starting to crackle a bit (that's the good lung), which the nurse thinks is due to lack of exercise. So I am going to need to start moving around more actively. That's fine, and all, but dear gods not before I have a shower. I reek.

The nurse is kind of shocked that they may let me go home. She's worried.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yay Kristin - go you with the typical pneumonia! or something....

I think Aims should use the next few days to set up the computer and some cameras so that we can all log on and watch when she tells the asshat boss she's resigning. It would be best if it was a set up that allowed us to contribute our thoughts by yelling at him. ::crosses fingers for a new job for Aims::

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

lifetime at Disneyworld!
This sounds panic inducing to me.
Like some hell induced by the SG-1 "Gamekeeper" episode in Season 2

KT, Glad to hear of optimism from Doc! Um. It still sounds like you have a lot to recoup. Take it easy. I should have this weekend off. Let me know what I can do to help.

FTR, my boss is not an asshat. I loves my boss.

ETA stupid trying to be cutesies was screwing things up I think. I said more, can't recall now. Back to work for me.
