This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Harvey is purring his little heart out on the computer again.

Do we need ultra-cute kitten videos from YouTube? If so, there was one on CuteOverload.com yesterday: [link]

Speaking of CuteOverload.com, they have an adorable picture of an adult otter holding a baby, which I highly recommend.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

how could you resist?

Who could really?

You could have heard a pin drop when I looked at the audience and said "I'm part of this online community and we have a running joke about duck necrophilia".

Sometimes startling the shit out of them is even more fun than making them laugh.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Mostly, just need distraction, and awareness of other people.

Look! Over there! Trudy's dog is sneaking up on her to devour her!

I'm just grateful that she's not a duck.

My section's restructure management is now Operation Carnivorous Duck! I'm so proud.

Oh! The other day during a show one of the audience suggestions was "Duck". Did I tell the duck necrophilia story? Oh yes I did.

I don't suppose Ari Fleischer got a mention? Oh, and did you tell them about the Argentinian lake duck?

The status is NOT quo.

So it looks like they may be admitting me to the hospital tonight. 25 to 30% of my right lung is blocked. The x-ray was scary. I'm being nebbed now and already have an IV port installed. The local pulminologist is coming in to assess me in a couple of hours. This is rapidly becoming kind of scary.

Oh lord. Yeah, if they're suggesting hospital, go with it. And tell your right lung to straighten up and fly right!

Our wings are not tired.

Oh fuck, Kristin. I sure as hell hope they make you feel better and soon. This is sounding alarmingly like what my uncle went through in December. I'm sorry honey.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Poor Kristin! I hope you respond to treatment pronto.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Try not to be too scared. Because you were smart and went to the doctor you're not in danger.

(still sucks of course. tons.)
