wondering how a post called "and so we went to london to stabbinate" would work on TWC...
Well I guess I could take the baby with me. It's never too early to teach the proper use of stabbination, that's what I say.
'Serenity'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

sweet!
But after that you need to go to London, because they're annoying me too.
Oooh! London!
OK, just need a reality check here. On the TWOP forum for Jon and Kate Plus Eight, people are saying that it's "inappropriate" for the three-year-old girls to be given baths by their father, and that their mother should be doing it. Three seems to me like young enough that it shouldn't matter which parent is giving the bath, as long as someone is getting the kids clean.
Also, people saying that the three-year-olds should be brushing their own hair by now. The boys, maybe, but the girls all have long hair. Do three-year-olds have that sort of coordination and patience to comb through and style their own hair? I'm pretty sure my mom was styling my hair each morning until second grade or so.
Those sound like people who don't know any actual children, Hil.

That's ridiculous.

Maybe they could be brushing it but not styling it. I think my mother was putting up my hair until at least second grade too. I couldn't do it evenly.
Ever think that our society is so paranoid about molestation that they make innocent, natural acts lewd and dirty? Sad.
If Annabel brushes her own hair, she skips the tangled bits. I usually let her brush it, then follow up to smooth it out/get all of the tangles. And both of use give her baths and supervise her dressing.

That and they apparently don't know how the hell pedophilia WORKS.
If the Father is a pedophile he doesn't need to be bathing them to molest them. And since he ISN'T a pedophile he isn't going to accidentally feel them up instead of scrubbing them.
Humans piss me off.
My mom was combing the knots out of my hair after I washed it until I was at least 11 or so. At that age, I could put it in a ponytail or braid or whatever else myself, but didn't have the patience to detangle, and couldn't do it too well, anyway. Combing out knots you can't see is tricky.
