I think you're fine to call.
Really? Even though the ad says "no calls?"
'Trash'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I used to dye my own hair but I kept ending up with brown patches on the back of my head and red patches on my ears and forehead. The only time I was ever disappointed by a pro she fixed it for free.
The ad didn't say no calls.
due to my hair pulling red like whoa
What does this mean? Because I've been trying to dye my grays (which is fairly hopeless) and I've been purposely using ash brown, but it definitely seems to redden my hair, which I don't want.
Every time I've let a colorist touch my hair, I've run screaming from the results and had to fix it at home. Professionals get to cut my hair. They do not get to color it.
The only time I let my beloved hairdressers color my hair is when I went platinum blonde - it was too hard to do it on my own.

Exactly what's happening to your hair - it emphasizes the red in the dyes.
Sweet, that's very close to what I was picturing. Thanks, amych.
Due to the horror that was my one and only attempt at coloring my own hair, I'm relying on a professional. Really. Pink hair is Not Me.
The one and only time I tried to color my hair (admittedly, by using A Box Off A Shelf, not by using the complex and arcane mixology that Plei and Jess make look effortless), it ended up well-nigh ORANGE.
I therefore entrust all things tonsorial, including color, to my stylist, who actually knows what she's doing, unlike me, who knows FUCK ALL about hair color.
t edit Hah! Toddson and I execute the "Stylist, please!" x-post to counter Jess and Plei's "Nobody colors my hair but me!" x-post!
Plei, you've mentioned the no chemical dyes a few times -- are you henna-ing now?
Yep. I've been using henna exclusively for about 6-7 months now.
As I stock up at the Indian grocery store, it's WAY cheaper than chemical. And I'm willing to have one day a month where I have mud on my head for hours, now that the kidlet is older.

Yep.
I want this cut but work won't let me. I think I might actually go with bangs this time. For a couple years now I've been telling my stylist, "long in front, short in back and whatever you feel like on the sides." I might be ready to come out from behind my forelock.
