Gunn: Well, how horrible is this thing? Lorne: I haven't read the Book of Revelations lately, but if I was searching for adjectives, I'd probably start there.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

Tons of ~ma to you and your DH and family, Scrappy.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

maybe we should shine a UV light down KT's throat to kill all the icky things living in her lungs! Brilliant idea!

:: wonders where everyone went to ::

KT, are you still cool with me visiting tomorrow? Or is the blah at the level of "dear god no visitors"?

ION, I think head-splodey stuff of earlier is helping to revive vivid dreams. I had (2) last night. I can't recall the last time I had any dreams I remember the next day.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Scrappy, tons of ~ma to FiL and hoping it's something minor.

Thrive to spite them

Kristen I hope you start feeling better soon. I had pneumonia when I was about 25 or so. And it sucked, (I had bronchitis first) anyway one thing to remember is take it easy when you do get back on your feet.

It can take a while to get your full strength back after you've been so sick so don't push yourself too hard.

Those wind turbines are extremely cool. And I am always pro-dome.
Ya, the turbines work even at low wind, and from any direction! I totally want one! As for the dome. No clue why, but I've always been fascinated with them. I got such a woody working at the Griffith Observatory with ND in the planetarium room, which is like a 50' dome! It was double geeky for me. It was dome... and it was space. Heaven!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

it's something simple~ma to you and yours, Scrappy.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Omni, the turbine may generate electricity in 5 MPH winds, but unless it is friggin huge, it can't generate much electricty at those wind speeds. Cause there just IS NOT that much power per square foot in 5mph winds. I mean anything helps the planet, but don't expect a wind generator of the size that can fit on a dome to lower your electricity bill unless you live in area with reasonably high average wind speeds. And even then, the power produced will just barely make a noticable dent - 10%, 20%, 30% if you are really luck. Even small wind turbines that can do better than that generally have to be big enough and high enough to need towers.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

JZ, I'm glad your job is off to a good start!

Scrappy, I hope it's something easily fixable.

Glamcookie, Hec, and any other Avatar fans: two more episodes leaked last night!! And they are awesome!! Yes, that's right, all four episodes that will be released on DVD in a week and a half are online, and not a single one will have aired in the United States by the time the DVD comes out. Good show, Nickelodeon. Good show.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

This has been a semi-productive Monday so far.

Holy moley this made me blink. Just how long was I asleep? Heh.

Just went to price windows. OMG, the prices make me cry. I feel like we'll be lucky to pay $400 per window. It's the damn wood grilles that we have to have because of the historic district thing, more or less doubles the price!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Much health~ma to Scrappy's FiL.

Omnis, after the fall of civilization, you and I will rebuild with domes and wind turbines. And planetariums. It will be a glorious utopia.

I live in the Land of the West Wind - that's what the town name means. Small wind turbines might make sense on my roof.
