Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Your mom hasn't produced a list of female family members for whom you should buy jewelry with it?

Heeeeee.

(God, I don't mean that to sound nasty

No worries, Tep.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Oh Teppy, I finally got around to watching that Muppet RickRoll with sound. It really was astonishing how well it synched up with the song (though I'm sure that's partly judicious editing). Unfortunately, I'm also now earwormed thoroughly.

Seriously! For a RickRoll, it was pretty happy-making.

I loved the signs in the audience.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I was originally planning to use my Economic Stimulus Package money to buy a new sofa. Or a new bed. But then I realized that we were actually going to the F2F, so I figured I had better buy some new clothes and shoes and ....

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Given the name, I feel I should be using my Bush Stimulus Package to buy a vibrator.

Sadly, it will all be going to pay off credit card bills.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

We're going to use part of the economic stimulus money to pay for my trip to CA to see my mom next weekend and put the rest toward debts. Unless Schrodinger's Inheritance hits between now and then, which will more than cover all our debts, in which case I'm going to lobby for putting the stimulus in the 2015 Big European Vacation Fund.

None of which, other than the CA trip, does anything in the near term to stimulate the economy, but I don't really care.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Credit card bill (stuff I charged on my vacation) and the rest in savings (not as much as I'd like), which will more than likely end up getting spent on the F2F, anyway.
