We're going to use part of the economic stimulus money to pay for my trip to CA to see my mom next weekend and put the rest toward debts. Unless Schrodinger's Inheritance hits between now and then, which will more than cover all our debts, in which case I'm going to lobby for putting the stimulus in the 2015 Big European Vacation Fund.
None of which, other than the CA trip, does anything in the near term to stimulate the economy, but I don't really care.
Credit card bill (stuff I charged on my vacation) and the rest in savings (not as much as I'd like), which will more than likely end up getting spent on the F2F, anyway.
Thanks P-C & Laga for the schedules. Looks like end of May for me. Woot. Papa's getting new, much MUCH needed tires (400 bucks thankyouverymuch).
OK, I should work now. this is me going. Up to the studio. to design... uncredited... sooo much motivation. Thank goodness its Friday!
Credit card bills for me. I haven't been able to figure out if it'll come based on my SSN or DH's, so it'll be a surprise when it shows up.
Susan, I keep forgetting to mention that if you need to get away from your family or need a ride somewhere or anything while your in CA, give me a call. I'm an hour or so out of Sacramento and I have a very loose schedule. Anything I can do to help.
I'm hoping we'll be able to put both of ours into the house fund.
I'm giving some to the Dems once they pick a frickin' candidate. And paying down credit card debt.
I had planned to sit on my stimulus money so I could stop being freaked out all the time at my roommates paying their bills late. Now I think I'll at least need to buy a vibrator.
I took a picture at the SF2F where Aimee and Em have on matching pink Chucks, although from the way Em's feet are splayed, her shoes aren't immediately obvious, but you *can* see them.
Totally adorable and should be added to the Flickr Group converse world domination: [link]
