Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Jars-- I did that with Tunick in NYC. It's great fun. And, oddly, you don't feel exposed at all, since you are part of a mass of nudity and sort of disappear.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Clara's a great name. I don't think it works well with my last name, so someone else will have to take it.

I like Shane too. DH and I need more boys' names (er, in another year at the earliest).

That's what I was thinking. I'd rather be naked in a crowd of eight hundred other naked people than the only person with clothes on, you know?

I'm so glad someone else has done it! Yay!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Clara...Clara...Love it, but I think it breaks our rule of illiteration in kid's names.

Margaret Louisa is still the planned 2nd girl name. Although I'm pushing hard for Phoebe. Or Claudia.

Because books.

Oh, I love Louisa.

Compassionately intolerant

it turned out to be a bait and switch to get someone fired.

One of the reasons I moved away from doing OD full time. Such bullshit. I finally got to the point, when the sooper sekrit agenda came to light, where I'd say this: No. I will not be your hatchet person. If you'd like me to help you figure out why you continually find yourself in this position I will gladly do so. And I will wager my entire fee for this event that if you do fire this person, in 3 months, you will be blaming someone else as the problem child. If firing this person really does solve your problem I will return said fee at that time.

No one has ever taken me up on it.

One retreat had me calling bullshit between the two principals of a drug rehab agency. Husband and wife team. Mucho collusion and denial. I tried to help them see what was going on in a clear headed way. "This isn't bad so much as something that needs to be managed." They went OFF and kicked me out of the retreat center. Fortunately, they honored their financial commitment to me...but 3 months later I got a call from one of the employees. The couple's 9 year old son opened an anonymous package on their doorstep to find a video of his father engaging in things a 9 year old should never see. At the same time all the local news services received the package. It was a statewide scandal. Rather than vindicated, it just left me feeling sad.

So much pretense of change with no actual change.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

For Margaret, would you use a nick? Love Maggie!

LOVE that site! A prof used it in a class as an example of good design.
