The money was too good. I got stupid.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Congratulations, vw!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I can't go into Staples without buying something.

(20 different colored pens for $10... who can say no to that?)

Our wings are not tired.

My sistahs! My brothas!

I too am with the office supplies and stationery love. I hold special affection for nice pens and starchy paper. Yum.

Meara have fun! Will you be working from home entirely?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

handsome, snarky guys with intelligent senses of humor.
But I'm still looking.
:: coughs :: Hi! Nice to meet you, I'm BC. Come here often?

(what? you can't blame a guy for trying!!)

ION, I have a great deal of ire for NBC right now. I set up to tape Laga in her Crosswords game. They listed two half hour shows of it today. I recorded both. And both seem to be Access Hollywood! Stupid NBC for mislabeling their programs in the guides. Now I don't have Laga looking smart!

That said, I had a fun night at Angels Stadium. The Halos beat out the Indians with a walk off grand slam! It was quite the game. The Rally Monkey still works! Now I'm watching tivo'd Yankee game (even though I know the result).

Will you be working from home entirely?

Well, I'll be traveling 60-80% of the time. But I won't have an office to go to, so...

And the last thing I need is for my darn phone to quit working! Argh. I probably need to go buy new phone cords or something, but part of it is that this apartment, bizarrely, only has two phone jacks!! One in the living room and one in the one bedroom (but not in the other bedroom!)

Oooh, I'm both envious of the travel, Meara, and sympathetic. OTOH, lots of FF miles! Yay! But man, as you know, those hotel rooms get tahrd but fast.

Go and get a new phone, pronto. And congratulations for getting through your first day.

Omnis, glad you had a good time at the Angels game. As a die-hard Giants fan, let's just say it's going to be a lo-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-ng season.

So... I'm the only one who just walks into random Staples stores on a regular basis to shop for office supplies (or sometimes just look), then?

Oh, goodness no! They are building a Staples in the square in my neighborhood, and I am SO psyched! It’s going to make my life so much easier! Staples is my second grocery store!

Congratulations, vw!

Thank you, Burrell! Thank you so much everyone. The excitement from all of the people in my life about this accomplishment has been overwhelming and so touching.

So, KANSAS WON! I was so tired from the excitement of the day that I couldn’t possibly stay up to finish watching the game. But, I hear I missed a good one. Bummer. I’m so thrilled, though! It’s so exciting! What a way for the day to end. I can’t wait to talk to my brothers. They must be ecstatic! (Cooper’s mom and dad went to KU and still live in Lawrence. The Jayhawks are their team. Cooper’s had at least 5 KU outfits already! My younger brother fell in love with them as a result of meeting them through his big brother.) Ben has already posted pictures of the big party they went to Downtown. It looks so cool and like so much fun. Yesterday was my SIL’s birthday. That was probably about the best celebration she could have asked for. In conclusion, YAY KANSAS!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I might be needing a lawyer today.

When we found out when my sister's surgery was scheduled - a MONTH ago - I emailed Boss and said I needed April 10th and possibly the 11th as I would be in Lansing with her.

I sent him a reminder yesterday.

This morning I get in to an email that says, "Thursday is fine. Be here Friday at the normal time."

not your mom's socks.

oh Aimee. His heart is at least three sizes too small.

may he be forced to listen to Hoos singing the same five notes for infinity.

I don't know what else to say - thus... more coffee is warranted.
