"My girlfriend has worked for 2 1/2 years and not taken a single sick or personal day." "I work 11+ hours a day and can't take personal days."
All joking aside, that's an attitude that's really hard to fight in the Midwest. More so than other places I've lived, anyway. You may take the days you're entitled to (if you must), but there's something morally suspect about it.
Everyone is allowed to take personal days. There are laws.
In which country? Not the one Aimee's in.

Also, on the pixie dust front, that's what the park workers call the pink stuff they spread over vomit when someone hurls in Disneyland.
Lets all move to France, eat freedom chips, and go on strike knowing we have great health care. Pass the wine and cheese please!
30 hour work week, gotta love it.
don't forget the extra long time off for holidays.
