Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Argh. I am so sick of my neck being out of place and the attendant nausea-inducing headache.

Sick of it, I tell you!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I never thought I would reach the end of this thread. Part of me wanted to book mark way back when I had 400 & something to read and jump ahead to tell y'all to quit talking for a sec.

Y'all are up here posting along while I'm back panting and sweating at March 31st.

Oooh, best friend's asshat (ex now) husband did this to her when she left him.

I don't know voodoo, but I rather think Dana or I could find you someone who does. And not that cheap tourist crap either.

I replied that I'd ask about the voodoo but isn't amateurs messing about with that stuff how most zombie movies get started?

Which could be fun in and of itself.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Okay that really sucks that taking care of your kid causes such conflicts with employers.

My employers are actually very understanding, but I still do have a limited amount of PTO. The nice thing is that I know exactly how much I have, and how much I've used, it's completely trackable, and my boss doesn't ever give me crap about being out too much. She doesn't have kids herself, but she understands that Dylan is more important to me than my job, however much of a good little worker bee I am.

Unlike DH's boss, who is kind of paranoid about people being out of the office, and has asked him to meet with her about cutting back on his already-approved vacation days in July just in case Dylan keeps getting sick. And has never once given him a straight answer about exactly how many sick & vacation days he has to use in the first place.

Anyhoo - baby waking up in the other room. Gotta go be a mom.
