[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Okay that really sucks that taking care of your kid causes such conflicts with employers.

My employers are actually very understanding, but I still do have a limited amount of PTO. The nice thing is that I know exactly how much I have, and how much I've used, it's completely trackable, and my boss doesn't ever give me crap about being out too much. She doesn't have kids herself, but she understands that Dylan is more important to me than my job, however much of a good little worker bee I am.

Unlike DH's boss, who is kind of paranoid about people being out of the office, and has asked him to meet with her about cutting back on his already-approved vacation days in July just in case Dylan keeps getting sick. And has never once given him a straight answer about exactly how many sick & vacation days he has to use in the first place.

Anyhoo - baby waking up in the other room. Gotta go be a mom.

Do you know any Buffistas who practice voodoo?

Oy. Poor thing.

I can only help with the "light" side of focusing intentions but I did hear an excellent curse in relation to W.

I'll say this one for sis's ass/ex. May his heart and conscience grow so great that he cannot help but be overcome with compassion.

eta: As in, may he know Angel's pain at being re-souled.

Librarian Warlord

she just found out he emptied their joint account.

Do they have joint credit card accounts? If so, she needs to check them a.s.a.p.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

May his heart and conscience grow so great that he cannot help but be overcome with compassion.

Which is nice and very subtly vengeful with a side helping of positive for everyone else.

But it lacks the visceral punch of "May he shit his own innards into his hands."

t whimper

I wish I could just go home. Not that I couldn't. I've already been told I can/should leave early. It's just there's not much point till 3:45 when the first express bus runs. But I wish I could just take off from everything and rest until I'm actually feeling better, only that's not very practical. Sigh. I'm not used to being sick for this long.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Susan, have you taken a lunch break? If not, can you?

This? This is why we have ME for curses.

"May he shit his own innards into his hands."
This? Is why we have you for curses.

Seriously, Dude. We should fight crime. With your wife as the Warlord. Your Kid bringing the killah cute. And my pooch as mascot? We'd rule the world.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I love both the curses, each in their own way.
