Our wings are not tired.

I saw that earlier, Jess, and immediately hoped that D didn't end up with a Buster-like fixation on the thing - "I am a monster!"

And for my own pics spam, may I present my dog Chile Pepper, bathed in the glow of a fiery sunset? Right after this damned photo was taken, I dropped the camera and smashed the lens to bits. Damn it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Aww, that sucks. The photo is beautiful, though. At least your camera went out, um... doing what it loved best, or something.

Thanks Tommy. I only got the camera in February and was very iffy about it until I really read the manual and paid attention to the settings. And so of course the minute I actually really *got* how to work it, it gets smashed like a smashed thing.

I thank goodness it was my $230 Canon and not the boyfriend's Nikon D80 that got smashed. That would be a lot more than an annoyance.

Owie. I think I've been grinding my teeth or something, because my TMJ is acting up horribly. Opening my mouth more than about an inch, or closing my teeth all the way, is sending shooting pain down my neck and shoulder. And, because I'm an idiot, I don't have any Tylenol or Advil here. Ow ow ow.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

javachik, I love that picture. I'm glad the camera lasted long enough to get that gorgeous shot.

Hil, hope you get relief soon.

I've got a bag of frozen edamame on it now. Seems to be helping some. (And I've learned that, when grabbing something from the freezer to be an ice pack, frozen berries is NOT the answer. I've still got some purple splotches on my rug from that.)

Oooh, that's a good one too. How does one choose?

And thanks for the kind words, WindSparrow.

Hil, hope your mouth pain goes away and fast. Is it wrong I giggled at the juice stains?

Hah! I used frozen strawberries once for a migraine when that was all I had that wasn't open....but they leaked anyway, and I have a red stain on my pillow (mostly it got on the towel I wrapped it in)

Wow, this. That picture is stunning. I'm so sorry your beautiful camera was destroyed. I hate when stuff like that happens (and it's never the cheaper camera, is it?).

Oh Hil, so sorry that you're in pain.
