It was just a little alarming to get Mail From Lawyers gently reminding me about other people's intellectual property.
hmm yeah. You'd think a well-mannered person would send a personal note before siccing her lawyers on you.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I have pictures from the Vampire Ball. But I don't know if any of you are interested in seeing them, since HARDLY ANYONE commented on the photo that Pete linked to last night. It's like none of you love Cass or me anymore.
You weren't here to squee at, now were you?
NOW we can squee.
Damn. Just...damn. Every last one of you look amazing. I love the care you took in the details--makeup, clothing, accessories. Wow.
I want Jilli to dress me at some point before I die.
Oh, and! Jilli, is that the outfit that I remember commenting on in your LJ? Because it's even more stunning in (on?) the flesh, if it is!
Jilli bustle! [link]
Pile of pretties [link]
I am stunned that Jilli is being a tart and Cass is not [link]
Oh, I want her to be my doll so I can kiss her on the head and tuck her in: [link]
(I really don't mean that in a creepy way)
FAY! A friend of mine just got a job at the American University in Cairo! She's got three little kids, and the oldest is going to be going to kindergarten at the American school. Any foreigner-in-Cairo or kids-in-Cairo advice I should pass along to her?
Oooh! Let me think on it - I'll post again when I get to work. How exciting!
Jilli! Yay for more pics! I am awash with envy - both of you look splendid, and it looks like a grand time was had by all. On a faintly related note, I am going to attend a meeting of World of Darkness on Sunday - possibly to pop my D&D cherry, or possibly just to be a D&D voyeur. Would you happen to know anything about this?

Bwah-ha-ha! Um, is it tabletop gaming or live-action role playing (larping)? WoD is based off of Vampire the Masquerade, which I used to be involved in loooooong ago.
I love the pink laces
I believe it is tabletop gaming.
However, I'm assuming that if LARPing exists in Bangkok, these good people will also know about it. Or know someone who does. Still, one thing at a time, eh?
Yes, I seemed to recall you mentioning that you had been involved in Vampire the Masquerade once upon a time! Splendid!
My Geek Pal at work, Steve, suspects that I will love D&D, since I'm a big fan of storytelling. We'll see. Thus far my dice have all been six-sided.
(Also this weekend, I'm planning to have a crack at Bellydancing! It's all go!)

I found Vampire more entertaining than D&D, but that's because the VtM system is weighted more in favor of storytelling than D&D. For D&D to have good stories, you need a really good DM. Otherwise it defaults to kill the monster, find the treasure.
(Okay, I also found VtM more entertaining because of the whole yay vampires thing. Look, I own my clichés, okay?)
