BUT they had a drafty, old farm house to heat. An apartment might be less troublesome with that type of system. Can you ask the landlord for an estimate on usage? Or another tenant? This past winter has been particularly bad for the prices and the weather. But there is no telling yet weather the price would go down for next winter. Delivery isn't such an ordeal.

Liv had her first speech therapy session today. She's picking up words and signs soo quickly. She's still behind in 2 word phrases and such, but we are making progress.

They said it cost about $1000 last year. I don't believe a thing real estate people say anymore. I haven't dealt with one yet that hasn't lied to me.

Nope. Totally free agent. Unfortunately, I didn't do anything to protect myself is terms of copyrighting the material before I presented it to them. All I have is the hard drive on which the proposal was written and a bunch of email discussion.

I had oil heat in Ontario. No big, except that you do have to shell out more up front, and you want to keep an eye on usage somehow or else it'll run dry on the coldest day of the year.

I don't think it's near enough of a downside to outweigh your positives, but it won't be me doing the moving, so...

It looks like with all of the companies out here will let us do a budget plan over a 10 month period, so hopefully we won't have any huge payments all at once. The real estate person suggested we do regular deliveries instead of as needed, so that we didn't have to worry about running out.

Adding to the Pro list are washer and dryer in the kitchen! And storage in the basement.
