my roommate lost by descision. I hear it was a hell of a fight.
edit: Oh yeah, Happy Easter!
'Unleashed'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Happy Easter!!! for everyone who celebrates it. Happy Sunday!!! to everyone else. I exchanged Easter baskets with TCG this morning, and now we're headed to Mom's. My cousin and her baby decided at the last minute that they couldn't make it, so it's not quite what I was looking forward too. However, Mom made lots of yummy food, I'm sure.
Minor tragedy in preparations for Easter dinner: There were too many malted chocolate eggs for the candy dish designated for them.
Ah, well. At least it's easily corrected.

Now the trick is going to be staying the hell away from the Jordan Almonds. Pretending there never were any almonds is not an option, alas, as I stupidly told my stepmother I had some.
Happy Birthday Pete!
Happy Easter!
My bike ride went well, although it's quite chilly outside.
My cupcakes are delicious! I've only done the white cake lavender ones so far. I can't stop eating them however!
Now I'm having spaghetti squash and melty pepper jack cheese. Yum! Then it's talk with my mom, hopefully hit the bike store, and Party!
Hope you had a fantastic birthday, Adorablest of Loomy.
Yesterday while in KMart, Daniel and I saw a couple of kids hauling a couple of giant, premade Easter Baskets toward the registers. The baskets came up to the kids' shoulders. Out of earshot of that family I said, "It is my earnest belief that Easter Baskets should be half the size of the kid or smaller." Daniel agreed.
Later on I said, "Since you aren't really supposed to pick out your basket yourself, maybe they had chosen big ol' baskets for some friends of their family, who were having hard times, and wouldn't be getting much otherwise. So this family decided to treat the other family really generously, to keep their spirits up."
Daniel said, "Keep believing that. It makes it better."
Happy belated adorable day to Pete!
Happy Easter to those that celebrate. We were going to my mother's, but she is sick so we are having an unplanned Easter dinner here. There is candy. There are pretty eggs.
Lovely Fay, what they all said. I understand the feelings. They are not reasonable or rational, but real. I wish you could see yourself as we see you.
The timing is an odd thing. I was raised in New York and attended university in Richmond, VA. DH#2 was raised in Florida and attended university in Richmond at the same time. We wandered the same campus for a year or so and never met. I was doing other things and wasn't looking; he was doing lots of other people. We met in Florida 10 years later and were surprised that we hadn't found each other earlier. If we had met in Richmond we likely would have disliked each other.
I am trying to finish up this policy paper I need to get out before tomorrow and I am completely distracted by the delicious smell of the scalloped potatoes with goat cheese and garlic that is currently cooking in my oven. I can't concentrate! Mmmm, 4 hours till dinner.
Tom isn't feeling well which is unfortunate.
Oh! Finally reaching the end of Natter and I see Nilly's mention of 2 Buffista Birthdays.
Happy Birthday to Raq!
Happy Birthday to Kathy A.!
