Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thank you all. We have returned from our excessive dinner at the local Morton's steakhouse. Blimey. Quite full now, thanks.

And, due to the horribly large workload, I am rounding out my evening by doing more work. Oh well, could be worse, I could be stuck out in the ocean on a Disney boat...

ahem.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Hi, doll. I'm sorry your birthday has been workworkworkwork, but I'm glad you got a good dinner.

Did you know "WAZOO" is a playable scrabble word? I just used it in a game, because I just had to, once I knew I could...

Sleeping from 2AM-noon and 2PM-5PM means I am not really needing sleep right now. I could use a chiropractor though.

not your mom's socks.

happy bday pete! Continued eating and wopping vibes Byron!

The sprog is sleeping with us in our hotel room bed bc last night she woke up with what sounded like croup but was more likely an allergy. Scary tho. Now happily sleeping. And snoring louder than DH.

Happy chocolate bunny day to them as celebrates! We don't do traditional but one of the reasons we're back in balt this weekend is a friends sunrise Easter service out on the pier next to the tugboat dock. Cold but pretty.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Happy Easter to those celebrating!

I'm eating a bagel and watching Goonies. Nice Sunday morning.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy Easter!

Happy belated birthday, Pete!

Harvey-purrs to all and sundry!

Because books.

We've had an egg hunt (punctuated with horrible coughing, since we're all sick) and the enormous chocolate bunnies are being sampled even as I type this. I got a picture of Sara in her bunny ears, too. (And, um, her Halloween pajama pants.)

Happy Easter to everyone celebrating!
