I'm not in favor of raisins in all things but I think there is no better place for them than oatmeal cookies and that an oatmeal cookie would be naked without them.

I agree--oatmeal cookies are BEST with a mix of chocolate and butterscotch chips (the recipe says just butterscotch, but I find that too sweet)
