Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My apple is too sweet. What's with...nature? I wanted crisp and refreshing, but this jazz apple has perfect texture and too much sugar.

I'm watching a random episode of Enterprise, and they fail 100% in stylistic continuity. TOS had a tremendous lack of screens displaying data--they worked in flashing lights and panels. Enterprise is someone going nuts with an oscilloscope and a budget for colour.

Ack. Sugar apple.

javachick, I just resent. Re-sent. That's a difficult word...

Hey did anyone mention the book Physics of the Impossible which tackles a lot of scifi -ishes, especially out of Star Trek? I read a review in the Monitor today and it was largely positive.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Come on, people! Check out the Muppets blooper reel! It involves Beaker....

It confused me... I kept on waiting for the "blooper" part....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I want to read a piece of futurism and technology as depicted in visual sci-fi. About where people let their brains go (communicators, transporting) and didn't (no dynamic data screens, traditional gender roles) and why--budget? Current technology? Culture?

I read a review in the Monitor today and it was largely positive.

Go read it. I want your opinion. Okay, I guess I could do my own footwork.

I have been presented with a questionnaire from which they will draw a bio for use on the krav web site. Favourite fruit or vegetable? Fuck OFF.

Okay, off to see reel.
