Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That puppy looks severely like a Gund.

msbelle, I fear more's on this drive than I'd thought. I don't want to cough up this chunk of change, dammit.

And look! My email system for my own domain just went down.

Flea, that's adorable--I hope it's both true AND an April Fool's joke....as in, there are two PhD students named Josh who are single, but their friends (or they) wouldn't have posted it if it weren't April Fool's!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ok, have put goopy stuff on my elbow. Hopefully this will cure my cancer of the elbow, or elbow-mite infestation or whatever it is....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's totally a Gund puppy!

I just emailed several people I don't know very well, asking them to do me a favor -- and promising to follow up with a phone call. What have I done.

ION, The Deadliest Creatures (Most Easy to Miss)

The Cone Snail is very pretty. But don't pick it up, as its venom can kill you in four minutes.

Also,

That frog over there, for instance: that tiny, brilliantly colored tree frog. Doesn't he look like some kind of Faberge ornament, there against that vermilion leaf? Wouldn't such a natural jewel look just gorgeous in a terrarium back home?

Pick him and you'll be dead in a matter of minutes. One second frolicking in the undergrowth, the next spasming and foaming on the jungle floor. No stinger, no bite, no venom: just the shimmering slime covering his brilliant body.

And the Sea Wasp's venom can kill you in 30 seconds.

Mmm. Shimmering slime. For some reason I'm getting a flash of Dru.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think I can pretty safely say that I'm in no danger of picking any of those up, venom or no.

Yeah, but one of them (that I didn't mention) all you have to do is step on. Plus it hides under the sand and is camouflaged. No fair!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

That puppy is undeniably adorable.

I forgot to go to the post office to mail the thing that needs to be postmarked April 1. Which means I absolutely CANNOT forget when I leave work. Which means I'll forget.
