If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think I can pretty safely say that I'm in no danger of picking any of those up, venom or no.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think I can pretty safely say that I'm in no danger of picking any of those up, venom or no.

Yeah, but one of them (that I didn't mention) all you have to do is step on. Plus it hides under the sand and is camouflaged. No fair!

That puppy is undeniably adorable.

I forgot to go to the post office to mail the thing that needs to be postmarked April 1. Which means I absolutely CANNOT forget when I leave work. Which means I'll forget.

Compassionately intolerant

Friends of a friend decided to advertise for a husband for her. She had 8 dates in 8 days, all chosen by people who knew and cared for her.

There was something about the second fellow of the 8.

I did the flowers at their wedding about a year and a half later. They are one of the happiest couples I've ever known.

That 'arranged' marriage really worked out!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm afraid Ariel has got me now.

Please god let people respond to my emails as soon as they get back to the office tomorrow. I'm dying here!

Also, HR's response to the fact that my hire date is wrong on my paycheck? Oh yeah, I had hoped to get that fixed before you noticed. Well, shit, how long has it been wrong? And does it affect anything?

Also also, that email to HR also asked if there was any way to find out our leave balance (there is no automatic way to find it out, which I think is just bananas). The reply was silent on that matter.

Jesse, HR knows you're flirting with other jobs.

Please. I'm not even.

I do feel like there should be slightly more kissing of my ass in general, with the boss leaving. Maybe it will come later.
