I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Unsurprisingly, you look awesome. And adorable.

I remember the blonde juliana pics! I was thinking that the pictures in that slideshow reminded me of the pics of juliana, actually...

I was just having this conversation about how you don't really notice the changes over time, or think you (or anyone) look that different, but then you see a picture!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh dear Lord, blonde pixie msbelle is adorable! Were your fists extra wee at the time?

I'd make a thoroughly horrible blonde, and red is no longer an option since the gray hairs have started emerging in force (most reds, even the deep ones, fade to bleached-out orange on gray/white hair), so I'm fiddling with deeper and darker browns but haven't found one I like yet. Downside to having very short hair -- the color grows out extra-fast and the gray hairs are visible again less than two weeks post dye.

I had a crazily hectic and productive morning at work, and have now wasted most of the afternoon trolling the internets for ANTM commentary. Am now mildly depressed that (a) nobody is as smart and witty as the Buffistas, and (b) the majority of the non-Buffistas out there seem to think that the two women who seemed most interesting to me are relentlessly fugly.

Happy birthday, Katie! So glad to see that you're visiting and lurking and soaking up all our good wishes, even if your work doesn't permit a lot of posting.

Awww! That's a great photo.

I was strawberry blond-ish for part of my senior year in HS. With big deathrock/Cyndi Lauper hair. In retrospect, bleaching my hair wasn't the best idea I'd ever had, and NO, I have no photos of it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm actually surprised that you don't have your eyebrow pierced, juliana.

I've been trying to assemble various examples of my hairstyles over the years, but I'm missing Tina Turner and Jheri curl, mostly. This underestimates the persistence of the blonde, since it was a good ten+ years, and will be back again soon enough.

So, honestly--what image does the short hair convey? I would love to have it this short all the time, but we're going to be looking at this too--there's no way around it.
