So I just finished grading that project. Now to decide whether or not to curve.
So the faculty field trip got back at 2:30, and the principal told them they could go ahead and go home. She really doesn't think we work on faculty work days, does she? Bizarre.
Oh, and they DID go to the safari park. Curses! Someone must come visit me so we can go. Possibly someone with medium-to-small children.
Along for the ride. It is pretty much mostly of the "you have got to be kidding me!" variety, with a side of "this is really not looking good."
I've got the power to do something about the first (saying, are you KIDDING me? No, we can't do that, end of discussion) and the second is something I'm helpless to do anything about.
We're behind schedule, can't be behind schedule, but really? Behind schedule.
Ugh indeed. I hope your landing is cushioned.
Okay, that's it. Off to find half a burger.
I've only been at work for 2½ hours, and I'm bored out of my skull.
It definitely fell through?
Haven't heard anything back from Colin, and don't want to bother him.
Oh fabulous. They're filming an interview with our Americas CEO two cubes over. Glad I got two minutes notice to clear some of the piles of crap from desk.
Oh god, now they're all Project Runway over there. "Okay, just a little more tilt to the shoulder..."
A CEO in a cube? Scary.
It's not his cube at least. (Cubes for everyone is one of the central tenets of our Kool-aid culture.)
