I'm not sure how old he is, but I heard him use the word 'newfangled' one time, so he's gotta be pretty far gone.

Stupid snow. Guess I'll hop on the bus now. Happy weekend, all!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Meanwhile, we have a Wind Advisory going on here. Not as much fun as snow, but at least we can pretend it's spring.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

94 and up for an A, 87 for a B, 77 for a C, 70 for a D. Don't know why, it's just what the school does. But it really irritates me, because I generally construct projects/tests/assignments so that 90% is a really good grade, so I hate that it's a B! It means I have to pad things, and that feels wrong.

What's weird about that to me is that the ranges aren't even. So you can't even have a system whereby you create your tests based on 70, 80, 90, and then just add 5 points to everyone's grade to match their system.

Punishingly Intricate

I just had a way too spicy falafel. That left me craving the falafels from a place in my old neighborhood in SF (can't remember the name but it's on 16th almost next door to the Roxie) that put eggplant and potatoes in their falafel sandwiches. So yummy.

I have a dream that my boss sends an email telling us all to go home early but I think it will just be a dream.

I share Lisa's dream, but my boss is out, so I know that the email is not coming. I may leave at 4:30 anyway. My dream would be to leave in the next hour and go see a movie.

I give both lisah and msbelle permission to go home early.

I just got back from the Habitat for Humanity Builders Surplus Store where I found bookcases. They aren't perfect, but for $30 each I was willing to buy them anyway! Apparently they were just donated less than an hour before I bought them. WOOT!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

The main thing that stops me from going is that it would mean getting out of the house before 2 PM on a Sunday, which looks like it may never happen again unless I'm staying with someone else. Man, I am lazy!
