94 and up for an A, 87 for a B, 77 for a C, 70 for a D.

Yeah, we had that in HS.

Signed, took 4 pairs of shoes when she came to Chicago for 24 hours.

And bought a few more here, IIRC.

I thought you were off to a Con or something.

Nah, I'm just schlepping to Michigan for the weekend to see the family and go to the bridal store.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Yeah, it's really picking up out here. I'm hoping that Dad doesn't bother coming up tonight, because between the weather and the Friday afternoon traffic (admittedly lightened by the fact it's a holiday), it'll be rough driving from Plainfield to Wheeling.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I can't believe how much it is snowing.

Yeah, it's been snowing lightly all day, and it just started snowing hard. On radar, it looks like the heavy stuff is just hitting Chicago/Evanston.

Meanwhile, we have a Wind Advisory going on here. Not as much fun as snow, but at least we can pretend it's spring.

94 and up for an A, 87 for a B, 77 for a C, 70 for a D. Don't know why, it's just what the school does. But it really irritates me, because I generally construct projects/tests/assignments so that 90% is a really good grade, so I hate that it's a B! It means I have to pad things, and that feels wrong.

What's weird about that to me is that the ranges aren't even. So you can't even have a system whereby you create your tests based on 70, 80, 90, and then just add 5 points to everyone's grade to match their system.

Punishingly Intricate

I just had a way too spicy falafel. That left me craving the falafels from a place in my old neighborhood in SF (can't remember the name but it's on 16th almost next door to the Roxie) that put eggplant and potatoes in their falafel sandwiches. So yummy.

I have a dream that my boss sends an email telling us all to go home early but I think it will just be a dream.
