Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

Art Crawl!!!

brenda, it's nice here now too - I'm talking about a front that's going to be moving through tomorrow night and bringing lots of snow.

Compassionately intolerant

And you know doggy humping isn't necessarily a sexual thing, it can just be a way to assert dominance.

Unless someone is in heat, it's all dominance.

The 'ew, they're GAY!' thing in the park is just tedious. I'm working toward not letting it bug me because, really?, who cares. But it so often seems like a really sad reflection of people's internal experience...and or just plain ignorance.

A pretense of facelessness serves war.
Amen.

Punishingly Intricate

Well, my dog's pre-snipping thing for tall blonds was most definitely sexual.

I just think we (as a society maybe? not tommyrot in particular) have gotten too a point where we too easily say "well, that's war".

You think that's more true now than in the past? Because I'd say the trend goes the other way.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Beats me.

I've only been alive for ::mumble:: years. In my lifetime I feel it is worse at the moment than it was previously. It's certainly encouraged when countries are at war. It's probably cyclical like damn near everything else?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

What is going on with LJ? Did I read the front page right that they secretly dropped the ability to create free accounts?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Did I read the front page right that they secretly dropped the ability to create free accounts?

Pretty much, yeah.

Edit: Ad-free accounts, that is. You still have the option of having a "Plus" account, which is free but has ads on the page.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hmm. So I take it the next step is to eventually convert all basic accounts to ones with ads on them, right?
