This is not funny. This... this is a morality tale about the evils of sake.

First, she's hosting some dance show on Bravo (as you will recall from the aforementioned Showgirls, she's a DANCER!),and now she's guesting on CSI, which I haven't watched in years and decided to watch on a whim tonight.

And she has a teenaged son with HoCaine. Which is extra hilarious to me.

Also, I Would Die 4 U just came on my iPod. This makes me think of you, ita.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Lavender shortbread sounds marvellous.

Today's self portraits suck. I may sink to webcam.

Is the concept of True Love equivalent to there being a one and an only person out there for you? Is there another way to have a definition of the epitome of romance?

I still like my throat-cut thingy, though. Dynamic.

What amuses me about those fanzines is that for several years I had one of the Trek ones: One Side of the Mirror, which is an utterly classic Mary Sue self-insert meta AU novel. It's spectacularly fannish.

The SW zines unsettle me, not sure why.

Oh and, in case anyone was wondering, if earbuds tend to fall out of your ears, you should probably not wear them when painting. IJS.

I just got totally disquieted by New Amsterdam and have found myself watching Wisegal to take the edge off. But I don't know how much of that Milano accent I can take.

Speaking of accents, what is the one Marianne Jean-Baptiste uses in Without A Trace? And has any black woman ever had that in real life?

Article about Evan Lysacek and Johnny Wier. [link]

In the normally placid enclave of figure skating, supporting either Evan Lysacek the Athlete or Johnny Weir the Artist has become a virtual referendum on matters from skating style and personal style to sexuality itself.

Normally placid? Normally placid? Has this writer followed skating at all in the past few decades?

I wonder if I can find my old Pern fanzines
