My biggest problem is when the dog wakes me up (by getting up and walking around the room) well before my alarm. Because then I have to get up, carry him downstairs and outside, wait for him to do his business, wait for him to make his way back in the house, give him a treat (good boy!), wait for him to follow me back upstairs, and then I always think I deserve more sleep after that. Even if it's, like, 15 minutes. But then 15 minutes is not enough so it turns into 30 and so on. When really I should just get up with him and then go for a long walk.
Why isn't it time for lunch yet? I disapprove.
The radio part of my clock radio stopped working about five or seven years ago. So I just get the annoying electronic buzzing instead.
Huh. Morning news for an alarm might be nice. So instead I go online and check the weather. For some reason I like to do that before I get into the shower - apparently so I can think about what to wear while I'm showering.....
That is awesome.
I use the beep alarm on my watch and this really annoying pedometer alarm that talks! and cock a doodle doos! the sad thing is when I keep trying to turn my watch off when it is the pedometer. Also, I can now ignore the pedometer to sleep more.
I don't like the feeling of being woken up, so I have trained myself to get up on the frst alarm. Only have to go through the alarm ordeal once. Also, once the alarm rings, my husband will gently and lovingly shove me right out of bed, so there's that.
I am a total morning person and often wake up well before my alarm (at 5:00 AM). Just not this week.
Stupid daylight savings.
Mr. Jane cannot stand my snooze alarm habit. Of course, I find his snoring unbearable. It's amazing the two of us aren't zombified by now.
