8 hours of OSHA is way way way too much.

At least in a row! Dear god!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's awful, aurelia. And bizarre.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Oddly, I have gotten that phone call before. A friend asked to borrow my phone (hers was dying) to call her friend who was going to meet us out. Turns out he has/had a suuuuuuuper jealous ex who was going through his phone records. Though she thought my address was the bars, because he'd asked my friend to text it to him so he could put it in his navigation system.

Oh, and hi y'all! I have been a bad buffista and unable to post due to work, and an a....uhm, very demanding client.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I don't get the logic song lyric things. I mean, I understand what all of the symbols mean, but I have no idea what the letters mean, and can't figure out what song they're supposed to be.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

DJ! You are not bad. Work is bad.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Work is actually pretty good. There are lots of little perks that make the place nice. It's just...you know those people who want what they want right then? And everything's top priority? And they don't want to pay for it? I have to take conference calls with him.

Ah, well. My actual coworkers are a dream.

I can sneak a little time here once and a while, but I'm usually hundreds of posts behind.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hey DJ, it's nice to see you.

So I had a weird OCD moment tonight when I had to google Steve Burns (the original host from Blues Clues) to see what happened to his music career.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

My boss' birthday is tomorrow. I got him three small gifts, wrapped in plain brown paper, labeled as such:

Inspiration (an Einstein action figure), Expert Analysis (Freud finger puppet), and Answers to Life's Tough Questions (Magic 8 Ball)

Cute, right? RIGHT? Have I made a terrible error in judgment?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

It sounded like a jealousy thing. Since I have done nothing to provoke any kind of jealousy (I am very seldom naughty) I figure she's got the wrong person or is completely deluded. Or both.

I didn't find it scary so much as really irritating. I mean, if she had shown up at my address what could she do? Yell at the intercom while I call the cops?
