Wow, you've really mastered the power of positive giving-up.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

God, I miss that smell.

YES!!!

I love the smell of a hand crank pencil sharpener. I have my great-grandmother's hand crank pencil sharpener. ALL metal. Nary a plastic part. You can take the cover and bang the shit out of it against the garbadge can when it gets really full and cram packed and no dents or breakage.

....

I had no idea I loved my pencil sharpener this much.

Punishingly Intricate

Do people use non-electric pencil sharpeners anymore? I mean, when they're not typing on a computer, texting, etc?

I have a little one for my pencil lipstick.

The big fat 4-colored ballpoint pen with the 4 separate clicky-things on the end? I loved those.

Oh my gosh, yes! My favorite! So great for a fidgety kid.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Graph paper.

(But also fourthing the clicky-pen love)

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I had no idea I loved my pencil sharpener this much.

Awesome. I'm mounting that bad boy in the kitchen tonight.

By "mounting" I mean "affixing to a wall by screwing".

By "by screwing" I mean "using a screwdriver and screws".

You people are sick.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yeah, ruled paper, sad as that may sound.

I know I've complained about being tired in the past, but that was all a lie. Today, I am tired. So very tired. I had to talk myself out of calling in sick to work so I could go back to sleep. I bought kolaches for the office instead.

Mindless tasks #1 are almost done, but now I have to speak to people to finish. grr.

If you were given $1000 today what would you do with it?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I loved those little pencil cases with Japanese cartoon characters on them that had like twenty little compartments along the sides, so that if you pressed one button, a pencil shapener would pop out, another button would get you a little drawer holding a tiny bottle of glue, another one spit out a ruler, and so on.

Pay off one bill and buy a laptop.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

If you were given $1000 today what would you do with it?

I'd go and give JZ a hug.
