I can never wear contact lenses again. Thanks, lisah.

Someone tell me what I was thinking on 12/27/07 when I specified that qfltCStblChangeTypeTMP.Type could not be Null....

Er. Well, if you're changing the type, it should be one type or another, shouldn't it? Logically? Although I suppose if it were a brand new thing, there wouldn't be a type yet.

I sort of miss these kinds of dilemmas. "The... what? Why would I need to have a faculty action decision type in order to create a new faculty member with a code 3 address?"

The thing is I never remembered losing a lens.

It was underpants gnomes, I tell you.

They moved the fridge? With stuff in it? And...I got lost somewhere with the fridge and the copiers and the filing...what the heck?

I am glad to hear, however, that Shrift has not lost an entire contact case in her eye. And I'm thinking not having disposables mean I couldn't do Lisa's trick. Not that I want to. But I'd notice, at a minimum, the next day, when there was not a contact anymore...

Punishingly Intricate

A case, lisah. Not just a lens.

hahahah. phew. I misread because I so rarely get to bring up my bizarre medical thing as a cautionary tale!

I can never wear contact lenses again. Thanks, lisah.

But it never hurt and didn't damage anything! (I have a small scar on my eyelid. only noticeable to me.)

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

shrift, your contact lens case isn't in your eye, is it?

Snork.

I am, in fact, wearing my glasses, and my contact lens case is in my glasses case, with both contact lenses inside. All accounted for, no strange growths.

I had the lens case in my hand and didn't remember putting it down. I eventually found it on my bed. The lens case? Same color as the comforter.

with the stuff still inside? bizarre.

Yes. They physically moved the refrigerators with the contents still inside, which I'm sure is leading many of my coworkers to wander around in search of their food and looking increasingly disturbed.

They keep rearranging the office, so refrigerators and microwaves keep disappearing and reappearing in strange spots, but this is the first time I've had something go missing within three hours.

Quick - hide the fridge in a bathroom.

Anyway...Happy Birthday, tommyrot! Meant to post earlier, but...

A free-range refridgerator, perhaps?
