What I would like to see is the Catholic Church call all of its past sins, such as cultural and intellectual genocides and its current sins of hatred against homosexuality and supression of women's rights, what they are; attempts by men in robes to dictate how others should live. Similar to the KKK! Coincidence, I think not.

I'd be curious to see what the Church classifies as social injustices worthy of the designation '21st Century sins.
I was intrigued, on the other hand, by the comment about the Church acknowledging climate change and how this might make the religious right get off its assertion that global warming is a sign of the Apocalypse.
