Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Kat, that looks heavenly.
I got way overexcited while talking about computers with my engineering class. I think I managed to convey "binary numbers are like decimal numbers, but like with 2's or something" and also "MATLAB is way cool" (the second a direct quotation from a student's notes). My work here is done.
Thank you Scola, Ginger, Sumi, Matt, lisah, Gloomcookie, Java Cat and Juliana!
(I think that's everyone...)
I have a meeting in a little bit with a woman who, rumor has it, wants to lure me away to work for her in another part of the Company. I like my current job, but her area may have more long-term stability. I'm keeping an open mind.
After that, I'm going home to make a huge vat of gumbo for my b'day party Saturday.
Cheese and bread = the yum.
If you had time and I had time, ita, I'd say we should meet for lunch.
Also, how do you spell psyche? I mean, is that how it's spelled for the bratty thing you say after you say a statement you're joking about (you look good. pscyhe!) or am I overthinking this?

I spell it 'psych' but in my head I see 'sike'
Well, lisa, that's how a 7th grader spelled it in some writing.

Ditto.

::sniff::
I's go with "psych!" too. It's how the TV show does it.
Kat--one day we will both have time and energy. And there will be lunch. One day I'll be actual friends with people again.
Happy birthday, Jon! (I knew I was missing something today...)
Cheese and bread = the yum.
This week's America's Test Kitchen OnDemand has a kickass version of cheesy garlic bread that I must try out ASAP. It looks so yummy!
