You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

It's snowing down here too, sarameg!

If you grab a ruler and measure your shoulder from neck-bend to end of shoulder, how long is it? Mine (right one) is 5 inches long. I suspect that's really short/narrow.

um...that was kind of hard to do and a little painful with a metal ruler. But mine is about 6.

information libertarian

My 4 year old is currently deeply confused about the sort of brownies who drink bowls of milk and clean the house, vs. the sort of brownies that you bake. I made brownies last night, and she was all, "That's a cake! Are the brownies inside?"

I wish we had a house-brownie, though.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I love that Buffistas will, without much encouragement, torque themselves into weird positions/measure themselves/try to cross their eyes just to check out what someone else is talking about.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Well, I'm willing within reason.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think I got about 5.5", assuming my measurments via handwidths and sheets of paper are accurate. (NB: my paper-as-ruler trick did work to find boots that would fit around my calves.)

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

When I was a kid, part of our house burned down, and the fire fighters came. (Coincidentally a FF cousin was called to the fire, but that's neither here nor there.) Being completely terrible at causal logic at the time, I knew that firefighters were associated with house fires, but I couldn't figure out why, if they start the fires, they then put them out.

IIRC, that led to Rebecca Lizard kneeing herself in the face.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have taken this measurement on approximately 3 billion people, and it is almost always between 5 and 6 on a woman.

...and that of course, there is a Buffista who can speak professionally on the subject.
