Called venue and confirmed that 2 forms of ID is pretty much a crock of shit unless you look underage or your ID is hinky, go team hates-to-talk-on-the-phone.
I was also just thinking that I've often seen a credit card be OK as secondary ID. Since you probably won't also get a credit card under the name McLovin' or similar.

Not that anyone here is doing it, but it would be nice if people didn't treat me like a moron for calling the venue to find out about their ID policy.
Yeah, sadly, I'm wondering what the evidence is against the guy, other than her word...awful if it happened, but what are the chances she was just skipping saturday school, and when her parents came to find out, she made up some story? Or even, he DID force her into the car (not good), with the intent of taking her to saturday school?

So you know how I was raving about nonfat Greek yogurt the other day (specifically, Fage)? My lunch deli started stocking more and more brands of the stuff. There's like five brands of nonfat Greek-style yogurt. Today, for the first time, I noticed they had nonfat Icelandic style yogurt. I have no idea what the Icelandic people are doing, but man is this good yogurt. It's practically cheesecake. So, yay, destruction of the Dannon/Yoplait crappy runny yogurt hegemony!

Thanks. It's just that every venue is different, and I don't think it's unreasonable to check on policies when it's supposed to snow and I could be sitting at home watching Torchwood.
