Early: Where'd she go? Simon: I can't keep track of her when she's not incorporeally possessing a space ship. Don't look at me.

Art Crawl!!!

I think metaphor.

Also, I braved ice to run errands and decided to do other errands tomorrow - you know when it's supposed to melt. I want it to melt!

Meanwhile, today, having picked up my prescriptions, dropped off my rent and my lease renewal and picked up some food for today and tonight - I am recording the "director's cut" versions of Torchwood that are up. (We're losing 2.1 and 2.2 tomorrow, so I figured I'd catch up.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The good news: I have completed my online tax returns (minus one piece of information I need fro our daycare) and I'm getting money back this year, so woo hoo!

The bad news: I seem to have broken our printer. BOO.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What was the setting of the MacBeth, Jesse? It sounds like a fairly modern setting, given the lack of bowties in early Scotland.

I would say 30s-ish, except Mrs. Macduff was in basically modern clothes. It was pretty fascist-ish.

Catalogchoice I think. I forget if it's .com or .org, though.

I have shiny new toes! And I took some pants in to be altered and they are taking three inches off my waist and hips. Paul Gross Arms!

Now I need to go to the computer store and buy a new printer and router but I'm lazy and tired.

Fun! Although it was harder than I expected. Joe Boucher was there!

Fuck -- iTunes just went screwy on me again. I am ALL SET with this shit. I guess I should really have a backup.

A friend of mine just texted that they put the rankings up from today, and I'm 448, out of 700+, so I'm feeling pretty good about that.

woohoo! go you!

mac is being pretty emotional for the last few days. needing lots of consoling and reassurance and one on one time. He almost did not go with his uncle today, but thankfully he did. I got 3 errands done and had about 30 pounds of stuff in my backpack when all was done. We got a letter from his family in Eth and I debated telling him about it, but I did. He didn't ask to see it for over an hour, but he has now looked at the picture they sent and had me read the letter. I am not sure we will ever feel like we know the full story of his family 100%. There are two people in the photo he says he does not know. There was talk when we were over there of a half sister, but he is adamant that he was the only child in the house. I am letting him be alone and watch tv which is what he wants, but I fear we may have a weepy bedtime.
