I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Meh. I went to Au Bon Pain to get lunch, because I wanted soup. They didn't have any kind I wanted!

I'm loving a couple of their new soups- the Tomato Cheddar (YUM!) and the Portuguese Kale, which I bought today.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

What are people doing this weekend?

My bro and SiL are in town, so we're having dinner tonight.

Saturday: The Boy and I are volunteering with our neighborhood association to pass out lightbulbs and a "safety kit" to houses in the area that's seen a lot of crime recently; the idea is to give them CFLs for their front porch lights, because if the porch lights are on, muggers are less likely to mug, since the victims would be able to see them more clearly.

Sunday: More stuff with the bro and SiL.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I am seriously considering bringing in my Wii tomorrow.

This weekend, Tom and I are going to my parents' to just hang out. They've been having a rough few months.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm loving a couple of their new soups- the Tomato Cheddar (YUM!) and the Portuguese Kale, which I bought today.

There was no tomato cheddar, no broccoli cheddar, no tomato bisque -- I wanted something creamy, but not mushroom. Meh.

Tonight I'm going to see MacBeth, tomorrow and Sunday going to the crossword tournament.

That's a very Brooklyn weekend, Jesse.

Librarian Warlord

We're headed to my parents' tonight. Tomorrow I'm taking my youngest niece to get her ears pierced (somehow it's become tradition for Aunt Sparky to do this instead of their parents), watching my nephew's tennis match, and other basic hanging out with the family things. Sunday: home to do chores.

You're telling me! I considered trying to spend the night out there, but then I realized it will probably take the same amount of time to get to the Marriott as it takes me to get to work, and I do that every day!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Cleaning house and doing lots of chores and errands both days. Going to a movie on Saturday and hoping to have brunch with the Niece on Sunday.
