Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's a very Brooklyn weekend, Jesse.

You're telling me! I considered trying to spend the night out there, but then I realized it will probably take the same amount of time to get to the Marriott as it takes me to get to work, and I do that every day!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Cleaning house and doing lots of chores and errands both days. Going to a movie on Saturday and hoping to have brunch with the Niece on Sunday.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

This weekend I am writing and taking finals. I am also going to a club tmorrow night with my sister and then going to a cupcake decorating class at Williams-Sonoma on Sunday morning.

Tomorrow I'm taking my youngest niece to get her ears pierced (somehow it's become tradition for Aunt Sparky to do this instead of their parents)

That's pretty cool, Sparky!

I am having an interview in another hour or two. Have to call the unemployment office and hope they dont' kick me off unemployment for quitting my temp job. And then have to drive to Portland to pick up my best friend! Tomorrow, I drive her back to Seattle and host a party at my house, then Sunday I drive her BACK to Portland to catch her plane!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Boston drivers are insane, but they pay attention to the road.

We don't have a choice - you never know when the roads have been changed or if they'll go in the same direction (or when they'll try to kill you by dropping pieces of tunnel on you).

I'm loving a couple of their new soups- the Tomato Cheddar (YUM!) and the Portuguese Kale, which I bought today.

I love some of their standbys - Potato Leek, Corn and Green Chile Bisque, Pasta y fagoli. Hell I even love their chicken noodle (especially when I'm feeling crappy). I've managed to keep missing the Tomato Cheddar, though. Must check that out.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Scrappy, how is your niece doing?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Good luck with the interview, meara!

I got up relatively early this morning and finally finished all my dishes, including the new set of flatware I got earlier this week. I was able to fit everything into my old flatware organizer in the drawer (mostly by putting the salad forks in the spoon slot, since the spoons are too big for the space), which I originally thought I might have to replace. So, that's one thing off my to-do list for the weekend. I still have to do four loads or so of laundry tonight, and then work at the bookstore tomorrow. Sunday is up in the air--I'm hoping I'll finally get around to organizing my closets that day.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I live three blocks from the Marriott, Jesse.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Sleeeeeeeeeping. Then maybe actually doing some planning. I think I might need to enlist outside aid, since I appear to be incapable of motivating myself.

Oh, and I have to buy a vacuum cleaner!

Oh, so is the F really the best way to get there? (I also determined that the schedule means I can get a solid night's sleep at home, which always beats sleeping anywhere else for me!)
