I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

This is so very, very disturbing. Haven't they read any Asimov? They're gonna kick back!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Unless I think I might get some (scarred for life by Boomerang)

Heh.

Our wings are not tired.

Skipped a few hundred posts and find grooming discussion. Huh. I did the mani/pedi last week and yesterday the manicure. Best thing happened when my SIL decided to buy a nail salon. I had the line of credit and lent her a chunk of cash so I get free services for life. I've always let her pamper me because she is so damn good at it. She waxes my legs. I may let her do the brows again, but really I don't care about them. They do everything there. Massages, facials, permanent makeup. I don't wear temporary makeup, so it is unlikely I will do that. She was really pressuring me yesterday that I had to give her an hour a week. One week pedicure, next week facial, next week massage, etc. She's had the salon 2 years now and I think I have gone 5 times. The girl has a point. An hour a week to be loved and pampered and prettied, for free! There is no downside.

ION, can it please be the second week in November? I'd give up summer to have the election stuff behind me. I try and not ever watch news, but I can't help myself. How can they manage to say the same stuff over and over and over again? Let it end.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Well, as one as a tall, striking woman of color and a short, frumpy woman of no-color can be.

The first half of this sentence is true. The second half has no relation to reality.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

You people made me have a dream last night that I painted my toenails a deep Chanel Vamp red. And when I woke up, I was seriously thrown for a moment that my toenails were au naturel.

Naked toenails! Naked toenails!

I seem to have naturally good eyebrows myself. That, or everyone in my life has been very polite about them. AtH!Teacher thought I had them done.

I love getting manicures, but since they only last about a day they are a very occasional indulgence. Sigh. I do love having fancy nails.

I gave up getting my nails polished, but I love getting a manicure and having them buffed. However, if I have time/money for only one, I usually choose pedicure because they last so much longer and I feel like I'm getting a better deal for my $.

Pedicures are really nice, except for when they buff the bottom of my feet. It tickles!

Does anyone else think this is a strange photo to use for this story?
