Sounds yummy, Sox. Sadly it also sounds like something neither of my kids would eat. sigh. Looking forward to non-toddler tastes.

yeah. Iris? Having "pastawithCHEESE and broccoliwithCHEESE".
eta: kid will eat eggplant, anything from Ding How, tabouleh, couscous, spinach and ricotta pizza... but if you put chicken near her? turns white and screams the scream of 1,000 cuts.
They would totally wear them if I did, especially if I changed it to, "It's fuzzy puppy cuddle time, motherfuckers!"
plans to get EVERYONE IN THE WORLD to wear these.
Hell, even I would wear one. Under a Victorian jacket, and with petticoat-fluffed skirts, but I WOULD wear one.

My nephew will eat chicken, venison, hamburger...but not roast beef or steak.
"I WILL NOT EAT THIS PINK CHICKEN!!!"
"I WILL NOT EAT THIS PINK CHICKEN!!!"
Hilarious.
"I WILL NOT EAT THIS PINK CHICKEN!!!"
bwah. (in a sad bwah way. the kind of bwah you get when you hope to only cook one meal, but end up cooking.... three. no. four.)
For protein my kids eat chicken, fish, eggs, hot dogs. About once a month or so they will go caveman on me and eat beef. Isaac also eats meatballs and sausage but Frances considers both icky. Will not touch a hamburger either one of them. I thought all kids love hamburgers but apparently not.
What drives me crazy is trying to accommodate the various food each will and will not eat. They don't like anything in a casserole form unless it is Trader Joes mac&cheese. Mexican food? Frances will eat nothing but beans and chips, but she can pound down enough to make a meal of it. Isaac is more adventurous and will eat beans AND rice and maybe a taquito.
Annabel won't eat hamburgers, either. Her preferred forms of protein are peanut butter and chicken, preferably in nugget/finger form.
I swear we've offered her a varied diet all along, but she's determined to be finicky.
what kids will eat cracks me up. mac hates all things green (although is breaking down with bell peppers). does not like blueberries. Is opposed to all veggies except potatoes, carrots and occasional tomatoes. Really does not like cold cereal, and has almost no interest in chocolate.
eta - NO FISH and rarely rarely peanut butter.
Matilda is a cheese fiend, and so far all her protein is cheese, eggs, milk and occasional chickpeas (hummus) and black beans.
She did happily chow down on a bowl of mac'n'cheese with tuna and loved every bite, but Hec pronounced the after effects unbearably foul and has decreed No More Tuna until she's potty-trained.
