Ooh, that Polish stuff is nice!

I also started looking through cooking.com, and found some nice Tuscan-inspired pieces, such as this one, which comes with a nice dessert plate, too.

But I just noticed that it's handwashing recommended, and screw that! I don't have a dishwasher yet, but am looking forward to getting one eventually and not having to handwash my plates.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I love ours. There's a warehouse in CT I want to get to to pick up a couple new dinner plates and small mugs. Also, more cereal/soup bowls.

A lot of the patterns I see now are a lot fancier than the stuff I have from 6-7 years ago.

I like this one, too, even if it a bit less colorful, and it's dishwasher/microwave safe.

Kathy, polish pottery is oven safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. It's hefty and sturdy.

Oh, and I meant to tell Scrappy that I love that Jacobean set!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My mother brought one of those bowls back from Poland -- love it.

It's just occurred to me that my coworkers probably think I'm hung over. I'm tired and cranky and have been drinking a ton of water. I'm totally not. I'm just tired! And cranky! And thirsty!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hi everybody!

I drive to work, in a minivan no less, but DH makes up for my gas consumption by taking the bus. And you can bet as soon as they finish the new metro line that will go from my neighborhood to 'SC that I'll take it, but that's still years away.

I need a cup of coffee like whoa. Was up at midnight last night--that was bad planning.

I like this one too, but am confused over the phrase "light oven and microwave use." Does that mean only use it in the microwave very occasionally?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

light oven and microwave use

I read the light as modifying the oven, not the microwave. I would say light more means at a low temperature or not very long rather than infrequent, in this case.

Drat, so much for wanting to cook a turkey in 15 minutes inside a potter's kiln!

shrift, was the super-swanky restaurant you went for a meal at in Chicago Alinea?
