I'm a single undead gal trying to make it in the big city. I have to start somewhere and they're evil here. They don't judge. They've got necro-tempered glass. No burning up. A great medical plan, and who needs dental more than us?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I did.

See, I've never seen the original. I wondered if Puffy's rendition was, well, wrong, because quite honestly, I found Walter Lee not sympathetic AT ALL. But I loved everyone else. Specially Phylicia and Audra.

not your mom's socks.

If it was Pie Day I'd be all over their chicken pot pie or shepherd's pie though.

killing me.

it's burger night... they have a good black-bean burger.

damn. I know what I want. I want a Bodo's caesar salad and an everything bagel sandwich. Unfortunately, that's even further south from Not Here.

He can be. It can be a very nuanced performance, where you go back and forth. It's a whole different show with Sidney Poitier. Which is patently unfair, to compare the two, but there it is. Also, I think that Sidney Poitier had more of a true sense of what Walter was feeling, having come up in that time. Can Puffy really relate to it?

I'll admit, it was hard to remove the multi-millionaire from my mind during some of his scenes.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm so sorry GC. I've gone through that same decline with a couple cats. Give her lots of kisses.

Hmm, Costco doesn't open to non-corporate shoppers until 11. Guess I have an hour or so before I need to get out of the house. I'm trying to be domestic today, do laundry, maybe mop during Isaac's nap. Anything to detox from yesterday.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I will just say "What Vortex said" re: A Raisin In The Sun. I love that play, I've seen it done extremely well, and it hurt to watch P. Diddy mangle it.

Let's GO! We can get there before the 4pm route 29 rush minute.

eta: bwah! I fired off my list of things to eat to DH as well... his response? "why don't you go to Bodos, if you're headed south already?" boy knows me for too long.

This. I wanted it to be good. And when he wasn't on screen, it was.
