"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I hope that's the name of your team, not the potential of your season's prospects!

It is our team name. However, our prospects look stellar. We've got the most talented team in the league, I'm pretty sure.

Punishingly Intricate

I just want her to enjoy the life she has left as much as she can, you know?

aww, poor kitty. We gave my friends' dog baby food when she got to the point where basically nothing would stay down. It didn't stay down but she loved eating it.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I've been driving my boss craxy by humming the Indiana Jones theme all morning.

My kidney-failure kitty is starting to decline. She has pretty much >stopped eating, though I got her to eat some (cooked) ground turkey >over the weekend and she's liking the cat milk stuff in the little
carton. Any suggestions for getting her to eat? I'm pretty much over >forcing her to have only the special kidney diet. Sadly, I think we're >entering the final stretch. I just want her to enjoy the life she has left >as much as she can, you know?

(delurking)

When my kidney-failure cat went into his final decline, I found that he would eat baby food - chicken, turkey, lamb, beef. Even if he'd only eat a tablespoon or two warmed up in the microwave for a couple of seconds, it was a treat that he enjoyed when no other food could tempt him to eat.

It is a hard time and you have my sympathy. Your cat is lucky to have you caring for her and working to make her days enjoyable.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, that's sad, GC. I have no advice, only warm thoughts.
