I like Product 19.
I just try not to think how bad Products 1-18 must have been.

Kristin, I had an instructor in college who required each of us to provide a cassette tape for comments. That was pretty low tech. I'm sure there are ways to do it entirely electronically over the internets, but yeah, that probably takes a little more planning. Something to consider if your hand keeps bothering you though.
In almost entirely unrelated news, I've been trying to emulate McDonald's honey mustard sauce, and although I've failed it's been an interesting failure. Based on the Web's advice, I added Heinz 57. It's not bad.
new thread....huh.....still looks like people are sleeping
I was just reading about a new book that blames the internet and such for making people dumber.
Woe. Another rant on rampant anti-intellectualism: [link]
Same rant, I think.

I hear that Product 23 is eaten by the Order of Zion.
Aurelia, thanks. I think that my problem would be that I am a very visual person; I have a hard time aurally. I also think I would have a hard time giving specific feedback on the writing/mechanics aspect of the papers. I'll keep it in mind, though, especially if the pain doesn't abate. Because ow.
If the papers are submitted electronically, you can use voice recognition software to enter comments in the electronic file. This makes grading undergraduate papers much less tiresome.
The downside is that it takes some time before the voice recognition software really understands you. It took me forever to get the microphone to work well enough for the sofware to understand me, but I'm guessing that you have an advantage there.
The upside is that you can program in codewords for frequently used comments. So if I say "c-z-14" it inserts the instructions for reporting electronic sources in APA style. C-z-1 through cz-4 are from Strunk and White. With this system it looks like you are working much harder than you really are.
New thread! Whee.
