It's amazing how many disgusting things you have to tell people *not* to do.
...ew.
It's okay, I'll unpack my files myself!
I need to figure out what I'm doing for lunch, as well, because I didn't bring anything with me today. I wasn't sure if I'd be up or down or here or there.
Am I the only one who really liked the song from August Rush? Granted, the only new release I saw in 2007 was Ratatouille (we RARELY get babysitting and usually use it for nice dinners because of the conversation factor), so I was judging them without cinematic context and solely based on personal musical taste.
I liked it a lot, but it's no "Falling Slowly." That one, I want to marry and have little half-human-half-falling-slowly babies with.
Falling Slowly is even better within the context of the movie. the first time i watched it(and really each subsequent time if i'm being honest), i had chill bumps.
Well, I was sort of watching the show while cooking and then eating dinner and doing my share of dealing with intermittent Annabel tantrums (she was one temperamental child this weekend) so maybe I just wasn't focused enough on "Falling Slowly" to get the appeal. The August Rush song was the only one that made me stop what I was doing to listen, but, like I said, that could just be my taste/genre preferences.
Falling Slowly
was beautiful. Never heard it and never heard of the film it's from before last night. I may have to correct that. I'm always happy when an actual stand-alone song written by musicians wins Best Song, rather than a song written expressly for a scene or what have you by an external songwriter. If that makes any sense at all.
OMG killingly cute baby corgi.
We should just insert a picture of the Daily Puppy in the top right corner of each b.org page.
Of course, we'd need to give equal time to kittens....
I have garlic hummus and carrots.
Hummus and carrots is the best lunch ever and it makes me sad hummus doesn't have more protein.
I am just not used to having people all around and foot traffic going by my cubicle. I think our stint in the sub-basement reinforced my already robust misanthropy.
