I kind of loved Marion Cotillard's dress even if it was fish scaley.
I agree -- but I think it had a lot to do with the woman who was wearing it. She wore the dress, it didn't wear her, etc., etc.
Someone please tell the people who work for me that I'm not going to chase down information for them -- if you want to go to a conference, spell out to me what it's going to cost. If you make me do it, I might accidentially on purpose forget to budget a hotel room for you.
So. Frelling. Gronked. Send help.
That is all.
I join you in the gronk, Frankenbuddha.
Tell me, o Buffistas -- if I have the ick AND I get 6 sick days, of which I have taken exactly none, is this a good time to take a day off?

What are the reasons not to, in your book? There must be some I'm not seeing.
I don't think I am gronked from the Oscars. I think I am gronked from a body in revolt. My head is on day 3 of being all foggy and resulting in me being spaced out.

what the hell is wrong with people. I mean, when I do that kind of thing, I do a specific budget, link to the conference website, etc. You have to make it easy for your boss to give you the money!

Er... I feel guilty when I call in sick? Also, what I don't use now I can use later, when I get the ginormous ick! Or... something...
Mostly I feel guilty. Particularly because, in contrast to San Francisco's gigantic automated system, here I have to actually talk to a guy who will then call a bunch of people individually to ask them if they want to sub tomorrow. It's a much more personal sort of thing, and you know how I hate personal things.
Is/are there any Buffista(s) who own(s) a current-generation Prius?
Tommy- I don't own one, but I drive one through zipcar quite a bit. Not sure if that helps
I am no longer a Morlock. I have been moved back up into the light. My cubicle is 3/4 unpacked. And covered in dust. I am tired and cranky and ready to go home now. And eventually I will need to figure out where the bathroom is on this floor.
