Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

Not enough caffeine in the world today. I have e-mails from coworkers who were flipping their nuts yesterday wondering why I hadn't gotten back to them.

Taking that company-wide holiday, assmunch, that's where I was.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Happy Birthday, Beverly!

I am listening to the Chili Peppers and gulping coffee in a vain attempt to achieve coherence.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Birthday Happies Beverly!!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, I'm getting more and more cranky as the day goes on. And I can't really get anything done because people are either out of the office or busy with other things. WHY AM I HERE?!?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

WHY AM I HERE?!?

This sounds like an existential crisis.

It's cold and rainy in SF today after a week of "February? We don't need no stinking winter!" weather (62 and sunny).

Good thing I got a set of tennis in with Emmett yesterday and a bike ride in the park.

I suspect today is the day I tend to a thousand tiny tasks I've been putting off.

Mostly though I wish the woman who assigned me my last liner notes job would get back to me.
