Look, Angel, I know you've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm still evil. I don't do errands...unless they're evil errands.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Dollhouse sounds icky. Anyone else?

I found that THR report a bit odd. In fact, I even double-checked the date when I read this:

Over at Fox, J.J. Abrams "Fringe" looks like a lock after an enthusiastic response from the network's brass during the weekend. Fox already has given its blessing for staffing to begin on the Warner Bros. TV-produced sci-fi drama.

Because I was under the impression that it was already a lock and had been staffed last month.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I agree that it sounds icky in theory, but I have faith in Joss. I mean, Buffy started out as as show about a blond teenager who fights vampires, which was based on a really shitty movie. Joss made it work.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I think the point of the show is that the whole concept is icky.

Which will make it a difficult sell, of course.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I kinda doubt they'll be selling that part of the concept.

I fully expect the promos to emphasize the "You'll probably get to see Eliza Dushku in her underwear" aspects.

I don't have faith in Joss when it comes to SF. I have yet to read anything about this show that doesn't make me cringe.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I am beyond excited for the show. Absolutely giddy in fact.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I have yet to read anything about this show that doesn't make me cringe.

I like who they hired to play some roles. But sadly, that's not enough. I guess I'm not much of a "In-Joss-We-Trust" viewer.

Not quite double post excited, but close.

Yeah, no. The concept of Buffy was silly and intriguing.

This is all stepford wives and slavery, and it gives me an ick.

Not so much with the Trust In Joss, either. Weird cult! Weird cult I say!
